On November 14, 2025, the Callaway Fire Department proudly celebrated a major career milestone as Lt. Chris Sauls marked 20 years of dedicated service to the community.

Since joining the department in 2005, Lt. Sauls has built a reputation for professionalism, leadership, and unwavering commitment to public safety. Colleagues describe him as a dependable mentor, a steady presence on scene, and a firefighter whose passion for the job shows every single day.
