On November 8, 2025, Fairfield Plantation Fire Rescue announced its participation in the Carroll County Holiday Food Drive, a joint effort led by Carroll County Fire Rescue and the Carroll County Sheriff's Office to support local families in need this Thanksgiving and Christmas. Fire Chief Dave Wade invited Fairfield Plantation to join the initiative, and the department proudly accepted the opportunity to help serve the community.
Donation drop boxes are available at every Carroll County Fire Station and at the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office. For Fairfield Plantation residents—and anyone outside the neighborhood wishing to contribute—a convenient drop box has been placed inside the Fairfield POA Office. Additionally, donations may be delivered to Station 11 (1507 Lakeview Pkwy) near the front gate on weekends, and crews will ensure items are added to the official collection.
Suggested donations include boxed pasta, rice, cereal, mac & cheese, canned vegetables, soups, beans, and peanut butter and jelly. Items needed for Thanksgiving should be donated before November 21, while contributions for Christmas should be made before December 10.
Fairfield Plantation Fire Rescue extends its gratitude to everyone supporting this meaningful effort. Every item donated helps brighten the holidays for a family in need.
