Engine 31 Delivers Santa to Holidays on Main

On November 4th evening, Engine 31 took on a new job as Santa's vehicle for the yearly Holidays on Main celebration in Old Wethersfield. Due to air traffic constraints in the historic center, Santa switched to a ground conveyance in WFD UTV 44 after joining the crowd for the tree lighting.
Santa was escorted by a UTV from the Wethersfield Police Department to Company 1, where he visited numerous families and children from the area. Residents had the opportunity to celebrate the season and engage with the town's public safety officers during the event.
