SEMINOLE COUNTY, FL - The Seminole County Firefighters Benevolent Association and Local IAFF 3254, in partnership with the Seminole County Fire Department, collected more than 1,000 toys for its 7th annual toy drive to, providing local children with gifts on their Christmas wish lists. This was a partnership with the Sharing Center in Longwood and XL 106.7’s Baby DJ.

The toy drive collected 100 bikes, over 40 scooters, and more than 1,000 toys to benefit 500 children locally.  

“I would like to thank all the partners, people and businesses involved in this tremendous community effort to help the residents we proudly serve at the Seminole County Fire Department,” said Lieutenant Marcus Gombs, who has organized the toy drive for the last seven years.

Station 11 A Shift in Altamonte donated the most gifts by donating 20 bikes and 25 scooters and second place went to Station 22 B shift crew in Fern Park.

In addition, Seminole County Fire Department fire stations served as a drop-off location for the Seminole County Sheriff Office Community Foundation’s Christmas Village, which benefits many children in foster care.
