Derry, NH — December 6 — Early on Saturday morning, a 911 report of a building fire on Douglas Place prompted the Derry Fire Department, located at 14 Manning Street, to respond. Before being changed to 11 Douglas Place, the call was first reported at a nearby address. Londonderry and Salem mutual assistance units were sent along with Car 1, Engine 1, Engine 2, Ladder 3, Ladder 4, and Medic 1.

When crews arrived they discovered a single-story manufactured home with roughly 50% involvement. Car 1 took leadership after Ladder 3 started the fire attack, elevating the situation to a first alarm. Neighboring communities provided more assistance.
