November 9, 2025 — The Willingboro Fire Department is proud to announce the promotion of Lieutenant Matthew Ferrell to the rank of Fire Captain. Captain Ferrell, who has served the Township of Willingboro since February 2000, is assigned to the A-Platoon and also serves as the department’s training officer.

Throughout his 25 years of dedicated service, Captain Ferrell has played a key role in shaping the skills, preparedness, and professionalism of Willingboro’s firefighters. His promotion reflects not only his leadership and expertise but also his unwavering commitment to the community.
