Hill Fire Department Honors Service on Veterans Day

Hill, NH — November 11 — The Hill Fire Department honored those who served in the US Armed Forces on Veterans Day, joining communities around the country. Veterans from all branches who defended the nation during periods of peace and war are honored on this day. Fire authorities observed that many veterans continue to serve the public by working in emergency response capacities, contributing important leadership and collaborative abilities to fire and EMS operations. The department highlighted that first responders and veterans have a common goal of helping others and responding to emergencies. The Hill Fire Department expressed gratitude to local veterans and their families for their commitment and community service. Additionally, the department urged citizens to consider the value of service and to honour those who have contributed to the defense of the country's liberties.
