Penobscot Volunteer Fire Department members received CPR, Stop the Bleed, and First Aid training from April Chapman of Blue Hill. Firefighters reviewed Heimlich and choking procedures, trained with EpiPens for allergic crises, performed CPR on mannequins, and used tourniquets to control bleeding. During medical incidents, the focus of the program was on teamwork, prompt action, and appropriate technique.
