MANCHESTER, ME - Early on Monday morning, December 2nd, Manchester Fire Department personnel responded to a garage fire. When C Shift workers arrived, they discovered smoke and a visible fire in a residential property's attached garage. In order to stop the fire from spreading inside the house, firefighters swiftly contained it by deploying a handline to the place of origin. Mutual-aid partners from the Town of Manchester, Chelsea, and Hallowell provided backup coverage, extra workers, and help with the water supply to support operations.
