Hollis, NH — November 11 — The Hollis Fire Department at 10 Glenice Drive honored Veterans Day by commemorating individuals who have served in the United States Armed Forces. The department's leadership thanked veterans nationwide and especially the firefighters in Hollis who had served in the armed forces. Many firemen enter the emergency services following military employment, bringing experience in cooperation, leadership, and mission-focused work. Fire officials say these abilities boost the department’s readiness and its ability to respond effectively to situations. Veterans continue their devotion to others by defending the community every day. The Hollis Fire Department remarked that the devotion and sacrifice of its veteran personnel remain a significant component of the department’s strength and are recognized by the whole community.
