November 3, 2025 —The Bulloch County Fire Department is celebrating the outstanding accomplishment of FAO Dylan Sikes, who successfully completed the demanding Georgia Spartan training over the weekend at the Douglas Fire Department. The Georgia Spartan program is a rigorous 24-hour challenge designed to push firefighters to their physical and mental limits, ensuring they are prepared for the toughest emergency situations.
The department expressed immense pride in Sikes for his dedication, resilience, and commitment to professional growth. A special acknowledgment was also given to Captain Merritt for providing guidance and mentorship throughout the process.
