At 18:25 hours on Thursday, Canteen 1 responded to 320 Commerce Park Road in North Kingstown for a hazardous materials incident, including a mass-casualty reaction. Special Signal Fire Association / Providence Canteen crew members were activated to help firemen, EMS, and other agencies operating on location.

The unit supplied rehabilitative services and supplies as responders attempted to manage the situation safely. Support for the incident continued until the command released it.
