Cardiff and Farmington Fire Companies Respond to Black Horse Pike Extrication

December 1, 2025 — At 6:13 p.m., members of the Cardiff and Farmington Volunteer Fire Companies were dispatched to the 6600 block of the Black Horse Pike for an extrication assignment following a two-vehicle crash with reports of trapped occupants.
Rescue 1517 and Engine 1512 responded with full crews. Upon arrival, firefighters worked alongside the Egg Harbor Township Rescue Squad to evaluate, remove, and treat the occupants of both vehicles. All patients were successfully extricated and turned over to EMS for further care.
The Egg Harbor Township Police Department is investigating the crash. Incident command was held by Cardiff Assistant Chief Craig Thompson.
Thanks to the coordinated efforts of all responding agencies, the scene was safely and efficiently managed.
