On Thursday November 27th the Nesconset fire department was activated for a reported house fire on Mayfair rd. 4-4-31 arrived on scene and had heavy fire showing from the second floor and called a working fire. Engine 2 arrived on scene and started extinguishing the fire. Truck crews also arrived on scene and started searches that were negative. All the fire was knocked down and crews started over haul and the scene was placed under control within 1 hour later.
