Antrim, NH — November 15 — Antrim Police and Department Antrim Fire & Ambulance, located at 82 Clinton Road, responded to a car accident near 16 Depot Street after a car allegedly hit a fire hydrant. When the crews arrived, they discovered a 2007 Ford Fusion off the road with serious damage and a big water leak coming from the hydrant. At the scene, the driver—a 37-year-old Bennington resident—was assessed for symptoms of impairment and minor injuries.

The patient abruptly got out of the moving ambulance on Water Street and rushed into a forested area while being transported to Monadnock Community Hospital. Responders assisted the search while protecting the crash site and roads after Antrim Police asked the Hillsboro Police K9 unit for help.
