Chesterfield responds to possible furnace fire

CHESTERFIELD,VA-Fire and medical personnel were dispatched to the 12000 block of Captain Drive on Nov. 16 for a possible furnace fire.
It all began around 12:16 p.m.
Scene upon arrival was light smoke in the home.
Firefighters discovered an electrical problem was the cause.
Two occupants were displaced due to electrical issues in the home. The residents were assisted by the Red Cross.
