On November 25, 2025, the City of Cochran Fire Department proudly announced the arrival of two major additions to its public safety education program — a new fire safety trailer and an inflatable fire safety house. These tools will allow firefighters to provide hands-on, realistic fire safety training for children and adults throughout both the city and county, strengthening community preparedness.
The department extended a special thanks to Citizen Bank of Cochran for its generous $10,000 donation, which made these new educational resources possible. Fire officials said the investment will benefit countless families for years to come.
While photos were being taken, families visiting from Cochran, Perry, and even Florida stopped by for an impromptu tour, giving the equipment its very first visitors and adding an unexpected moment of fun to the big reveal.
