Sanborton, NH - First due Laconia and Tilton firefighters made an aggressive attack to save an attached house to a large barn in a three-alarm fire on Thanksgiving eve, November 25th.
The fire was dispatched at 7:18 P.M. for a fully involved barn at 158 Upper Bay Road in Sanbornton, NH. Automatic mutual aid was dispatched and first due engines from Laconia and Tilton arrived to find the large barn well involved and spreading into the ell and large farmhouse.
A second-alarm, followed a few minutes later by a third-alarm, were dispatched for mutual aid tankers for water supply. The farmhouse received minimal damage, but the large barn was destroyed and collapsed. The fire was declared under control at 8:56 P.M., with extensive overhaul conducted throughout the night.
No injuries were reported, and the fire is under investigation.
