KEENE, NH — November 6 — A fire in Keene that initially necessitated a third-alarm response has now been escalated to a fourth-alarm event. Keene IAFF Local 3265's professional firefighters are managing fire suppression, establishing a water supply, and maintaining scene safety in collaboration with mutual-aid partners from nearby municipalities. Additional resources, such as engine and ladder companies and command personnel, were triggered by the elevated alarm level. Controlling the fire and limiting additional damage to surrounding structures remained the principal goals of coordinated response efforts. To maintain steady and safe progress, firefighters continue to rotate their crews.
