GILSUM, NH — October 28 — In the evening, the Gilsum Volunteer Fire Department & Rescue Squad received a call regarding a single-vehicle collision on Route 10 in front of the town office. When Rescue 1 and Engine 1 arrived, they discovered that the car had hit a utility pole and had significant front-end damage. When Route 10 was reduced to one lane, crews collaborated with the Cheshire County Sheriff's Office to manage traffic.
