Engine 1 Handles Crash Following Community Event

Fairfax, VT — October 27 — Four Fairfax Fire Department members participated in a Trunk or Treat event at a local school, teaching youngsters about fire safety while having fun. Throughout the event, firefighters stood ready to respond, with Engine 1 on the location for display and outreach. As the celebration ended, the department was called to a car accident on Main Street. Because Engine 1 was already staffed and closed, it reacted right away.
