EMS Transport Capability Moves Forward in Wolfeboro

Wolfeboro, NH — November 5 — A significant accomplishment in the ambulance transport program was declared by the Wolfeboro Fire-Rescue Department. After the ambulance passes its final inspection, the New Hampshire Bureau of EMS authorized the department as a licensed transportation agency, permitting emergency medical transport. The vehicle's compliance with equipment and operational standards for patient care will be verified by the state inspection. The department stated that this action improves community service and fortifies local EMS capabilities. Brian Evangelista, Deputy Chief of EMS, received recognition for his leadership of the project. Additionally, town officials and employees were honored for their support. According to Wolfeboro Fire-Rescue, community participation has been crucial in advancing the program and getting ready for the next stage of operations.
