Providence, RI — On November 7th, at 4:15 p.m., the Special Signal Fire Association / Providence Canteen (Canteen 4) responded to 23 Bramans Lane in Portsmouth for a second-alarm structure fire. The rehabilitation unit provided firefighters with drinks, snacks, and rest support during extended suppression and overhaul operations. Multiple companies were dispatched to the area as personnel battled to contain the fire and protect surrounding structures.
