Providence, RI — November 1 —At 12:48 p.m., the Special Signal Fire Association sent Canteen 1 to 59 Whittier Avenue in Providence for a working fire. While suppression and overhaul activities were ongoing, firefighters on the scene received rehabilitation services, including beverages, food, and cooling support. The Providence Canteen aided until the crisis was under control and crews were ready to clean the area.
