Veterans Day Appreciation from Somersworth Firefighters

Somersworth, NH — November 11 — On Veterans Day, the Somersworth Professional firemen Local 2320, located at 195 Maple St., honored firemen who have served in the US military and are still providing fire and emergency medical services to the community. Veterans contribute important abilities to emergency response operations, including teamwork, leadership, and flexibility. According to national fire service organizations, a lot of veterans decide to work in public safety because they still want to serve people. In addition to spotlighting their continued efforts on calls and in day-to-day station operations, the department expressed gratitude to its wartime veterans for their commitment to the nation and its citizens. Veterans Day serves as a reminder of the dedication and selflessness of service soldiers and their families. The agency acknowledged the vital role that veterans play in community safety and offered gratitude to all of them.
