Farmington, NH — October 29 — The statewide fire ban has been lifted as fire hazard conditions have improved throughout New Hampshire, according to the Farmington NH Fire Department, located at 160 Main Street. The municipality now complies with the state's standard standards for outdoor burning in categories 1, 2, and 3. Residents are still need to get the appropriate permit and abide by all regulations pertaining to weather, fire size, and supervision. Before leaving the area, fire officials advise putting out any fire completely and keeping a water source close by. Because brush and trash can still catch fire in dry or windy weather, outdoor burning is still a significant duty. Residents of Farmington were commended by the government for their compliance throughout the prohibition, and they were urged to continue using safe techniques as autumn approaches.
