Mashpee, MA — October 29 — This week, the Mashpee Fire Department debuted a new dayroom table at headquarters, which was created by union members to support everyday station operations. Firefighters Spears and Houde designed and built the table from locally sourced butternut slabs provided by retired Lieutenant Milliken. The project emphasizes the department's pride and craftsmanship, as well as a long history of firefighters creating durable station furniture.

Dayroom tables remain the primary gathering places for training sessions, meals, and downtime between calls. The new addition represents the fire service's strong culture of teamwork and heritage.
