ACFR leadership holds monthly chief meeting focused on operational improvements

November 6, 2025 — Alachua County Fire Rescue reported that department leadership met this morning for the monthly Chief meeting, where supervisors gathered to discuss ongoing issues, evaluate operational needs, and explore new strategies to enhance service delivery across the county.


According to ACFR, the meeting served as an opportunity for open dialogue, collaboration, and problem-solving among command staff. Assistant Chief Woods provided coffee and breakfast for attendees, helping to fuel productive discussions throughout the session.


The department emphasized that ongoing communication and teamwork within leadership are essential to strengthening operations and ensuring the highest level of service to the community.
