Second Crash in 24 Hours on State Route 8

On the evening of Nov. 18th, the Deposit Fire Department and Eastern Broome Emergency Services responded to a second motor vehicle accident on State Route 8 in the Town of Deposit. This represented the second crash on the same roadway within a twenty-four-hour span. Squad 22, Midi-Pumper 22, and Eastern Broome Ambulance 8422 responded to the incident and assisted all engaged until the area was clear. Units cleared after checking that the road was safe for traffic.
