Shohola, PA — October 28 — In honour of National First Responders Day, the Shohola Fire & Rescue Department, 325 RT 434, joined organisations nationwide. Firefighters, EMS personnel, police officers, dispatchers, and other public safety professionals who respond to emergencies on a daily basis are honoured on this yearly commemoration. In order to serve the local populations, first responders frequently collaborate through mutual-aid partnerships to address medical emergencies, structure fires, car wrecks, and storm-related disasters. The day is also intended to recognise the continuous preparation and training that enable crews to adjust to evolving emergency requirements. National First Responders Day, which was established in 2019, invites people to express gratitude to those who work in public safety. Shohola Fire & Rescue expressed gratitude to all responders and its volunteers for their ongoing support.
