Plainfield, N.H. — Nov. 17 — Plainfield NH Volunteer Fire Department used Monday night training to continue hands-on practice with its 100% donated set of extrication tools. The equipment, gifted by the Reading VT Fire Department, enhances PVFD’s ability to respond to vehicle crashes and other rescue incidents requiring cutting or spreading operations. Firefighters spent the session reviewing tool functions, safety steps, and effective communication during extrication work.

The department expressed appreciation to Reading Fire for the donation and the support it brings to emergency operations in Plainfield and surrounding areas. The training night helped ensure members are confident and ready to use the equipment when needed on scene.
