Plainfield, N.H. — Oct. 27 — Plainfield NH Volunteer Fire Department dedicated Monday drill night to training with a recently donated set of Jaws rescue tools. The equipment was gifted by the Reading VT Fire Department, giving PVFD expanded capability for vehicle extrication and other rescue operations. Members spent the session learning the controls, reviewing safety procedures, and operating the tools in a controlled environment inside the apparatus bay.

The department expressed appreciation to Reading Fire for the support and for helping strengthen PVFD’s readiness on emergency scenes. The drill provided valuable hands-on time for firefighters to become familiar with the equipment before responding to calls where extrication tools may be required.
