Plainfield, N.H. — Nov. 2 — Plainfield NH Volunteer Fire Department took part in Fire Safety Week with local students, giving them a chance to see firefighting gear and equipment up close. Firefighters showed the tools stored on the truck, explained how they are used during emergencies, and answered safety questions from the children. The visit focused on teaching students how firefighters work and how to stay safe during a fire.

Later that week, the department participated in the Plainfield Trunk or Treat event, connecting with families in a relaxed setting. Kids visited the fire truck, collected candy, and met firefighters during the evening program. The outreach efforts supported ongoing public-education goals and helped reinforce early safety awareness in the community.
