Ferrisburgh, Vt. — Nov. 17 — On Monday morning, Ferrisburgh Vol. Fire Dept. was dispatched to a residence on Fuller Mountain Road for a reported odor investigation described as the smell of smoke. Engine 1 responded with a crew and completed a detailed interior assessment of the home. The source was identified as an electrical issue, and no active fire was found.
Once the situation was confirmed to be stable, Engine 1 cleared the residence and returned to service at 8:36 a.m. The call demonstrated a measured response and thorough evaluation to ensure the home and occupants were safe before clearing the scene.
