CO Alarm Sends Firewire Montour County Units to Upper Mulberry Street

Danville, PA — October 26 — Firewire Department In response to a carbon monoxide alarm in the 1000 block of Upper Mulberry Street, Montour County received reports of illness. They sent out Tanker 19, Squad 23, Rescue 27, Engines 33 and 43, Brush 15, Squad 35, MICU 120, and Traffic 57.

When crews arrived, they discovered a person who was feeling under the weather and an activated CO alarm. After evaluating the patient, EMS workers took them to a neighbouring hospital for additional treatment. To allay any lingering concerns, fire departments ventilated the house and finished an air quality assessment.
