One Transported After House Fire in NE Ocala

(OCALA, FL.) Nov. 19, 2021 – One person was trauma alerted to the hospital following a house fire at the Villas at Spanish Oaks, 3150 NE 36th Ave., on Nov. 19.

Ocala Fire Rescue’s Engines 2, 3, and 5, Rescue 3, Tower 1, and Battalion Chief 22, responded to reports to a mobile home fire at 5:44 a.m. Upon arrival units found a one-story structure with fire showing from the front porch area.

While completing a search to ensure no one was in the home, firefighters found one person lying unconscious against the stove. The victim was removed and transported to Shands hospital.

The fire was contained to the room of origin and knocked down within five minutes of arrival.
The cause of the fire is unknown. No other injuries were reported.

Ocala Police Department and Marion County Fire Rescue also responded.
