At 12:03 pm on Sunday, 11/22/2020 the Baltic Fire Department with mutual aid from Lisbon, Occum, Taftville and the Yantic FAST were dispatched to 70 West Main Street the Saint Mary’s Rectory for a structure fire. Baltic’s Chief Car 24 arrived at 12:08 reporting smoke showing from the first floor. Engine 124 arrived at 12:15 and stretched a 1.75” hose line into the first floor and extinguished the kitchen fire. Tanker 154 tied into Baltic’s first engine and nursed them until Engine 224 laid a supply line from the hydrant. Towers 124 and 25 flew their aerials to the alpha side. Tower 154’s crew assisted with ventilation. Crews also stretched a line to the floor above and checked for extension which was negative. Jewett City Ladder 156 with Scotland Engine 116 covered Baltic during the incident.
