Waltham, MA - Waltham 911 received a call for a car into a utility pole at Hammer and Bedford Streets on November 22nd. Engine 4 and Medic 1 were dispatched. Engine 4 signed off with a pick up truck that had split a utility pole in half and broke a fire hydrant off the stem. The driver was uninjured but cited for drunk driving.
