East Windsor, N.J — Nov. 16 — At 22:55, East Windsor Volunteer Fire Company No. 2 was dispatched for a structure fire with mutual aid. Engine 46 arrived at a two-story middle-row townhome with heavy fire showing from Side Charlie and requested a second alarm while establishing Command. Attack lines were put in service, and Tower 57 and Ladder 41 took roof operations as the Engine 46 crew transitioned to interior attack. Chief 42 arrived and assumed Command, filling Safety and Operations positions under ICS as fire extended to the Bravo and Delta exposure units.

Additional handlines were deployed from Engine 46 as the water supply was completed, allowing crews to stop the spread across all three units. Visible fire was knocked down, followed by secondary searches, salvage, and overhaul, and mutual-aid companies were released in stages. Command was returned to the Engine 46 officer for investigation, which remains ongoing with EWPD, the Mercer County Fire Marshal’s Office, and the East Windsor Fire Official. No injuries were reported.
