Winslow Township, N.J — Oct. 30 — One of the calls for service on Thursday was for a house fire in Winslow Township's Sicklerville neighborhood. Squad 25 of Platoon B arrived to discover smoke coming from the attic of a two-story family home and deployed a 1.75-inch suppression line to the second level. After opening the ceiling, crews detected considerable smoke and located the fire, which they promptly extinguished before it spread further.
Additional incoming companies handled ventilation, extension checks, and other necessary firefighting activities to bring the situation to a safe finish. The Winslow Township Police Department, Winslow Township Emergency Medical Services, the Camden County Department of Public Safety, and mutual-aid partners all assisted at the scene.
