Hasbrouck Heights Fire Department assists Little Ferry crews at detached garage fire

November 16, 2025 — Full Hasbrouck Heights Fire Department reported that early this morning, Chief 60, Chief 61, Chief 62, and Engine 2 responded to Little Ferry on a mutual-aid request for a detached garage fire with exposure concerns.


According to the department, arriving crews assisted Little Ferry firefighters with fire attack operations and overhaul to ensure the blaze was fully extinguished and nearby structures remained protected. Units operated on scene until conditions were declared safe.

The Hasbrouck Heights Fire Department thanked Little Ferry for the coordinated response and emphasized the importance of strong mutual-aid partnerships in safeguarding surrounding communities.
