October 28, 2025 — Dumont Volunteer Fire Department reported that early Tuesday morning, Chief 210 and members of Independent Hose Company were requested to provide mutual aid for a house fire on Riveredge Road in Bergenfield. Upon arrival, responding crews encountered heavy fire conditions coming from the structure.
According to the department, firefighters assisted Bergenfield units with suppression efforts and operated on scene until the incident was brought under control. No additional details regarding injuries or damage were released.
The Dumont Volunteer Fire Department thanked its members for their quick response and support during the early-morning operation.
