Conway, P.A. — November 2 — The Conway Volunteer Fire Department (Rehab 49) arrived early this morning to assist operations at a working residential structure fire on Buffalo Street. The incident was dispatched shortly after the time change, when callers reported smoke coming from the roof and an active fire alarm.

Engine 24-2 arrived first, stretched a line to the front door, and reconnected its own water supply. Firefighters discovered a well-established fire on the lower floors and directed a second line to the basement. As suppression continued, fire was discovered in Division 3, leading to a request for roof operations and additional resources. Multiple lines, two water supplies, and roof access were ultimately needed to bring the fire under control. Rehab 49 was requested as part of the Beaver County Strike Team to support personnel operating on scene for more than an hour.

Dispatched companies:

Beaver Volunteer Fire Department (101), Vanport VFD (24), Bridgewater VFD (28), Brighton Township VFD (63), Rochester FD (23), Beaver County Strike Team (91, 71, 47, 11, 22, 84, 23), Rehab 49, Medic Rescue Ambulance Service, Beaver Borough Police Department.
