Busy Afternoon for Crews with Fire, CO Alarm and Second Alarm Run

Long Pond, PA — 11 November — On Saturday, the Tunkhannock Township Vol. Fire Co. Station 42, located at 1539 Long Pond Road in Long Pond, Pennsylvania, handled three calls in a row. Tobyhanna Township Volunteer Fire Company and Pocono Summit Volunteer Fire Company received assistance with a tractor-trailer fire from Engine 42, Tanker 42, Tanker 42-1, and Utility 42. Rescue 42 and Tanker 42 were sent to a carbon monoxide alert while staff were still working. Engine 42, Tanker 42, and Utility 42 were dispatched once more for a township fire alarm activation shortly after the units had returned to their barracks. Every call was resolved, and the units were put back into service without any more problems.
