Brush fire in Honey Brook Twp.

On November 14th at 14:23 hours the Honey Brook Fire Company was dispatched to the 200 block of Long Lane in Honey Brook Township for a reported brush fire. Chief 33 responded and was advised that brush was burning in several areas to the rear of the property. Brush 33, E335, E331, and Utility 33 all made the response. Chief 33 arrived and confirmed roughly one acre of brush going throughout a wooded area, established command, and requested additional resources to the scene. Brush 33 and E335 arrived and made access to the fire from Long Lane, while E331 made access from Pleasant View Road. All units worked collectively to contain and extinguish the fire, which consumed more than one acre before being brought under control. Crews worked for nearly 1.5 hours before clearing the scene.
