McVeytown, PA — 7th November — Company 15 members helped remove the flagpole from the current facility this week, bringing Department McVeytown Volunteer Fire Co. one step closer to its new station. After the new location is ready, the pole will be moved and put there.

In order to lower and secure the flagpole, crews collaborated, exemplifying the teamwork that frequently underpins significant departmental initiatives. According to McVeytown Volunteer Fire Co., assistance from nearby organizations has been consistent throughout the change, demonstrating the need of mutual aid outside of emergency situations.
