McVeytown Fire Co. Helps Teach Fire Safety at Belleville Christian School.

McVeytown, PA — 24th October — Department McVeytown Volunteer Fire Co. conducted a fire prevention workshop at Belleville Christian School in collaboration with Belleville Fire Co., Junction Fire Co., and Big Valley EMS. Students gained knowledge of emergency protocols, safe practices, and the function of first responders in an emergency. Crews demonstrated equipment, answered questions, and showed students the apparatus used during fire and rescue operations.

The participating agencies stressed the importance of developing trust with young community members and the value of early safety education. Faculty at the school welcomed the visit, and responders said they look forward to returning next year to continue the program.
