Lewistown, PA — 10th November — On Monday night, Department City Hook & Ladder #14 was called to Glenwood due to a garage fire that was causing a lot of smoke to spread across the neighbourhood. As the first units positioned themselves on the street and advanced lines towards the building, Chief 42 arrived and assumed command.

While keeping an eye out for any potential spread into neighboring areas, crews attempted to keep the fire restricted to the garage. Water supply and scene activities were assisted by mutual-aid partners. Despite the difficulties caused by light snow on the ground and poor visibility, firefighters were able to keep the situation under control.
