227 Units Handle Afternoon Motorcycle Crash

Penn Hills, Pa. — November 14 —Station 227 responded to a motorcycle crash involving a parked car in the 600 block of Jefferson Road around 4:45 p.m. on Friday. Utility 227 arrived first to find the operator on the ground, and staff immediately began providing patient care. Rescue 227 arrived on the site shortly after and helped with traffic management while rescuers tried to stabilize the patient.

Care was handed to mutual-aid EMS, and the motorcyclist was sent to a local trauma facility for additional evaluation. Penn Hills police are investigating the crash's cause. Command was held by 227 Chief Jeffcoat.
