Lewistown, Pa. — November 8 — Two important calls were handled by City Hook & Ladder #14, 317 Valley Street. Boats 14-1 and 14-2 helped Friendship Fire Company No. 1 in Juniata County with a search and rescue operation at approximately 3 p.m. Later in the evening, ground teams found the missing person after crews searched by land and sea. JC Chief 1-1 was in charge.
Units were sent to Banks Avenue at around one in the am on Sunday due to a collision involving multiple parked automobiles, a tree and a building. While Engine 32 from Heritage Volunteer Fire Co. #1 extended an attack line for fire protection, Rescue 14 employed hydraulic equipment to free trapped individuals. Captain 14 was in charge.
